New to the ZtalkRadio Radio family, Scotty Roberts brings a unique mix of humor, education, science and theology to paranormal talk. He's sort of the bastard love-child of Albert Einstein and "The Grey Lady;" the wicked "red haired" step-brother to Jesus and William Butler Yeats. Rasputin, Moses and Captain Kirk all rolled into one mutant talk show host.
Scotty loves a good political debate and wrangles some of the hard, insane issues in current American politics and world affairs, all while tackling historical mysteries, cryptozoology, spirituality and current events.
And he reads the Tarot.

"I'm an
Intuitive Tarot Consultant, Illustrator and Author of fiction and poetry occupationally hovering in the advertising ghettos of Minneapolis & Saint Paul, Minnesota. I can be more or less defined by my roles as Dad and Husband; once a single parent of my three exuberant children, who live with me in my home, I am now very happily married to my amazing wife, Raini! I do not shy away from a good fight, and have had a few brawls in my day - whether on my behalf or in defense of another - and, were times different, would most probably be known wide and abroad as an expert swordsman. However, in keeping with my paradoxical nature, I prefer employing words over weapons, wit above profanity, spirituality above religion, stalwartness above inconstancy. And as I grow older, my burgeoning jaded cynicism is wholly tempered by my desire to not become an ass. My humor is wry, my mind is fertile, and my love is deep."

Having spent the bulk of the last twenty-five years in advertising as a creative director, designer and illustrator, Scotty's background is laced with varied and diverse skills and experience. After two years in a Christian bible college, he entered seminary pursuing his Masters in Divinity (Mdiv) and worked as a youth director during the early 1980s. During his college and seminary studies, he focused on his academic and personal passion for history, theater and art. His religious studies intensified his interest in spirituality, and his research of the Paranormal expanded throughout the 80s and 90s.
Scotty started researching and reading Tarot during the mid-1980s, and has been an intuitive Tarot consultant for the last seven years.
In 1988 Scotty began a small comic book publishing effort, writing and illustrationg stories, which were also pitched as animated television series in the early 90s.
In 1994 he developed and published the highly successful Ancient Heroes trading card series, and began development on a series of young readers chapter books in 1998.
In 2007 he authored and illustrated his first historical teen readers novel, The Rollicking Adventures of Tam O'Hare, which garnered success in the teen and college markets.
In 2000 Scotty began his delve into paranormal investigation, co-hosting and producing Three Horizons Paranormal Radio airing on KOMA in Oklahoma City. And in 2001 he launched a fledgling ghost hunting effort which culminated in the development of Dead Reckoning early in 2007.
In 2007 Scotty was invited to be a guest Tarot reader and consultant at various paranormal events around the country, including Darkness Radio Paranormal Events, as well as SciFi's Ghost Hunters' Beyond Reality Paranormal Events. He is currently booked as a Tarot reader and speaker/lecturer for several paranormal events throughout 2009.
Scotty's current projects include, Tam O'Hare and the Banshee of BallyGlenMorrow - the second in his series of Tam O'Hare historical novels; and a more scholarly effort, Nephilim: The Genesis of Extraterrestrial Origins, exploring ancient Mesopotamian accounts of extraterrestrial and spirit visitation, and comparative Flood mythologies. Scotty has been and is currently continuing his investigations of historical and haunted sites, and has been working on the development of Dead Reckoning since March of 2008. He currently lives on a small horse ranch in western Wisconsin, not far from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro area, where he grew up and lived most of his life.
